  • How to Make Cold Brew Coffee

    1. Use 5 scoops (~32g) finely ground coffee (measuring spoon included)
    2. Pour room temperature water to bottom mark (300ml) inside VacOne™
    3. After 4 minutes, stir and press button to brew
    4. Pour cold brew into glass with ice
    5. Enjoy

    How to Make Hot Filter Coffee

    1. Use 3 scoops (~20g) medium-fine ground coffee (measuring spoon included)
    2. Pour water that is 198º- 200º F to middle mark (340ml) inside VacOne™
    3. After 30 seconds, stir and press button to brew
    4. Pour filter coffee into your favourite mug or travel tumbler
    5. Enjoy

The love child of a French Press and Vacuum Coffee Maker

Great device. I can see why the VacOne gets such great reviews. Once you've got a grind setting that works for you (closer to the fine side of an AeroPress grind), it takes 1 minute from the beginning of your pour to a smooth cup of coffee. Like a French Press, the brewed coffee passes through a metal filter - but instead of a "press," the Vac One works by "pulling" the water through a small mesh filter with a pump that creates a vacuum in the carafe. It leaves the grounds and bitter stuff in the upper chamber. Promises a quick, easy and super-consistent method for your morning brew.
