Manhattan - Edelweiss: Washed Geisha

I was very exited to try this coffee as I’ve really liked the other manhattan coffees I’ve tried and this is the first Tanzanian geisha I’ve had. My first brew with the v60 was very dissapointing. 3 weeks off roast. I didn’t get any of the tasting notes, very little sweetness, and light almost herbal tea notes. Not astringent per se but just not particularly great. Decided to give it another shot the next day with a flat bottom brewer and slightly lower temp and it really made a difference. Found hints of elderflower and strawberry with a really nice sweetness, and clean body. This one might take a little dialing in but worth it when you get there
