A very decent decaf

Overall a good cup from 1:16 V60 and Kalita wave, the cups are usually smooth and round but I find it lacks a bit of aroma.

Typical Decaf

I was hoping for an interesting experience because I’d never tried an Ethiopian decaf before. I was disappointed to find that it tastes like most other decafs, and I’m not really a fan. It’s been relegated to occasional late afternoon latte duty—extra milk.

Not a bad decaf, but nothing amazing

Using a V60, 1:16 ratio with 88C brew temp with relatively coarse grind (ZP6 @6). Flavour is typical decaf filter, with some toasty flavours (probably a medium-ish roast?), some fruity acidity present. Ending is pretty clean. A warm, familiar decaf that's not too expensive given the size of the bag. Nothing adventurous here though.
