Luna Coffee - Beto Narvaez
COF-LN-0112Roasted for filter and espresso, this coffee from Beto in Cabeceras, Huila, is notably aromatic with flavours of rose water, berry cream, and a buttery body, finishing with honey-nut and a long, spiced quality. Beto started growing coffee with his mother decades ago and has continued to learn and experiment with different varieties and processing techniques. His unique approach to processing amplifies aromatics, with a fermentation process that includes sealing whole fruit in bags for 18-20 hours, followed by a low-oxygen environment for 48 hours. This results in complex rose syrup, tropical acidity, and sweet herbal notes. Beto’s passion for coffee and his modern take on Caturra make this a standout cup
