Monogram - El Pilon

This coffee has a very special place in Monogram's heart. Ben Put, one of their founders used a natural from El Pilon at the 2015 WBC in Seattle and placed 3rd in the world. The Ureña family has produced coffee in Costa for many years. In the last decade they switched all of their processing to only naturals. This move might seem risky to many, but their commitment to this processing style means that they have created very strict and careful systems to create the best naturals possible. Through careful picking and sorting and meticulous drying the Ureñas create naturals that are some of Monogram's favourites in all of Costa Rica. They’ve recently started processing coffee from neighbours farms, using their expertise to add value to other producers’ coffee.
