Monogram - Vicenta Enamorado

Vicenta Enamorado grew up collecting coffee, fertilizing and planting coffee plants on her fathers farm. Much later in life she married her husband, Joel Martinez, and the two of them started working together on other coffee farms and planting vegetables until they were able to save up to build their own home. Joel’s mother, who owns a farm of her own, gifted the two of them with a part of her ½ hectare property where they could plant and grow their own coffee. On this land they planted Pacas variety and began their own coffee farm, El Rompe Carga. They have recently built a solar dryer on their property and have begun producing their own micro-lots of specialty coffee with the help from her mother in law, as she not only has a wet mill, but she also has many years of experience producing coffee. Last year, Vicenta and her husband were able to buy another hectare of land where they have Catimor and Yellow Catuai growing. They have worked really hard to produce this amazing coffee that we are proud to have on our menu this year, and have future goals to continually improve their coffee through quality processing, as well as build their own wet mill and house on their farm.
