Tasting Notes: Passion Fruit, Honey, Orange

This natural decaffeination process combines water and Ethyl Acetate (EA) obtained from sugar cane. This natural-EA process allows for gentle extraction of the caffeine from the bean, avoiding excessive heat or pressure. This maintains the natural structure, terroir, and all characteristics of the coffee bean. Martha and her two sons, Elias and Shady started to work with experimental coffee in a way that they could create and pass through the technology that would help to improve the quality of life of the families that work together with them in their project El Vergel State.

After 2pm = Roasti time! Love this decaf and even more so than some of the well-roasted regular beans.

My go-to decaf

I’m a bit surprised that I said I was proud of this roaster. They’ve really hit the nail on the head with the perfect balance of sweetness and smoothness for their flagship decaf. And to top it off, they’re so consistent and affordable!

Great taste

It has a great non-decaf taste and great value.

Don't sleep on this one

The other reviews nailed it. This Decaf is amazing value for money. Super sweet, clean and balanced. One of the best decafs I've had and one of the few coffees I'll definitely be buying over and over again.

Wow!

I got this on a whim, not expecting much, but WOW, it is exemplary. One of my favorite decafs I've had in a long time.

So good!

This is probably one of the best decaf coffees I've brewer (Switch). The aroma is loaded with honey, orange, and the passion fruit appears as the cup cools. Bright acidity and balanced sweetness. Medium body with a nice crisp finish.

Real honey

Can really taste the honey from this roast - given the price I was not expecting this level of quality (especially from a decaf) but I was pleasantly proven wrong - the cup is sweet and balanced, will order again
