Tasting Notes: Clementine, Candied orange, Smooth

Armenia lies in the region of Quindio, a stunning landscape at the northern reaches of the Andes. This is The Barn's first ever release from Casa Negra and they love the balanced refinement that is distinctly Colombian. Casa Negra is smooth and refined, with depth developed over 30 hours of gentle fermentation. On the palate, expect notes of clementine and candied orange. The sweetness lingers with brown sugar, chocolate, and soft spice, all balanced by a hint of citric acidity.

Delicious and sweet with a buttery mouthfeel

This stuff makes a great espresso. A turbo shot will bring out the clementine/orange peel notes on the nose.

Adding milk will totally transform this to a rich, buttery cup. Quite a fascinating roast, big fan!
