COF-BN-0046Corazón de Jesús micromill, owned by the Alvarado Fonseca family, is located beneath Costa Rica's Chirripó mountain, renowned for its 'land of eternal waters.' The family prioritizes specialty coffee production, experimenting with cultivars and processes at their Brunca region farm. Aligned with the Bandera Azul program, emphasizing sustainable practices, environmental conservation, and responsible water management, our lot comes from their El Salitre farm at 1800 meters. The washed process involves meticulous selection, mechanical de-pulping, overnight resting, and sun drying on raised African beds for around 12 days, resulting in a distinct and high-quality coffee. Rich flavour of chocolate ganache and ripe fig, the cup is luxurious and creamy. Full and balanced on the palate, the soft note of vanilla appears as it cools.
