Don't forget the nog!

I first discovered this coffee at one of monogram's cafes. It was used in their seasonal eggnog latte and was astounding. This is my second bag and not only does it taste great in nog at home, it tastes great as a standalone espresso. I also tried this as a pour over but it wasn't (surprisingly) as dimensional as the espresso shot.
If your curious about barrel aged coffee, I would certainly try this one. Very smooth and beyond the rum flavor, there is a pleasing acidity/vibrancy of cola. Great one!

The only barreled coffee I actually like

I've tried a few different barrel aged coffees and this one is by far the best.

The rum barrels impart a certain funk on the beans that personally I really enjoy. You can taste the fermentation, in a good way. Cola, sugar cane and rum are all very accurate. Think funky Caribbean rum and a real, spicy cola.

it's a sweet and mildly spicy coffee, the acidity is there but it's not the focus. Very cosy and well balanced with an absolutely silky mouthfeel, but there's no escaping the funk. If you like the funk, you'll like this.
