Satisfaction

Perfect, I'm delighted, quiet, very quiet. I have a pressurized portafilter, marked improvement in taste. Just perfect, and very fast.

Superb composition

Incredibly sturdy. And the grinding process is quite a pleasant one. In fact, the latter is done in as little as 45 seconds when packed. There is also something to be said about its flawless aesthetics. No disappointments there. I’m mostly only dialing in for a moka pot, but the possibilities are broad, I can only imagine. 12-13 clicks does the job well for my Alessi 9090, delivering a rich, uniformed espresso grind. And finding the zero point is mechanically effortless. My only complaint is the ‘chalkboard’ sound it generates when screwing in the bottom chamber, which, I’m aware of, is quite an absurd First World complaint to have.

Very smooth grind. Higher number setting required than indicated on the instructions for perked coffee.

This grinder absolutely slaps

This grinder has been working wonders for my coffee for both an aero press and pour over. The grinds are more consistent than those I'v gotten from a cheaper hand grinder and the grinding itself is a lot easier and doesn't tire my weak fore arm out. The incremented grind size selection works well for me but I haven't really tested it in the finer side where increment sizes could be a problem. I also just think it aesthetically pleasing.

Timeless Timemore

It is timeless in esthetic, and sturdy and reliable in function. I use it for aeropress and pour over and it has drastically enhanced my coffee experience ! If you’re not planning to use it for serious espresso and you want something beautiful and functional that has a nice grip (I have small-medium hands), you won’t regret buying this!

Would easily gift with confidence because it screams quality, class and durability when you hold it in hand.

(I do push its recommended setting to 7 or 8 and use it for espresso with a Bambino Plus and it works for my taste buds by tweaking dose and other parameters)

Wish - that the adjustment dial had more clicks, sure it’s got the E&B burr, E for espresso but two-three clicks isn’t enough. A custom adjustment ring exists with double the clicks but not accessible! Only then would it be perfect for my purposes which is “ok to stay at espresso-noob stage who enjoys feeling like a barista at home, and enjoys her pour overs and aeropress and occasional French press.”

I agree with the cons detailed by A.B. and N.H.

Update: few months in, still a breeze to grind med-dark roast, but you’re in for a workout for lighter roasts . Very good size for travel!

Great machine

Yes, it is a manual machine, but it is so well constructed that grinding coffee every morning is very easy and a new pleasure of my morning routine. The size is very handy and it has a good gripping. I have only tried a few grind sizes, but the grain size selector seems easy to understand and manipulate. It is important to note that I have tried coarse grinding only, I do not know how it works for the smaller grain sizes. Summarizing, I'm happy with the grinder.
