Tasting Notes: Caramel, Cinnamon, Candied Oranges

This oxygen sugarcane decaf from Grupo San Augustin Los Cauchos in Cauca (1800–2000 masl) is washed and decaffeinated at origin using a sugarcane process that preserves its natural sweetness. Expect a rich caramel body layered with warming cinnamon spice and bright candied-orange lift in a smooth, lively cup that feels anything but decaf

Customers praised this decaf as "really good" and "very smooth," with "high clarity" on flavors. Many enjoyed it as espresso, americano, and lattes. However, several noted the profile is "more round and warm" than expected, lacking the brightness described. Customers recommend it as a solid, approachable decaf option.

Decent brew

Not bad as far as decafs go, but I've had better. Candied orange note stated made me thing there would be some floral sweetness, but the profile is more round and warm - lacking on the brightness

High clarity smooth drink

This was a solid offering from a roaster I'd been meaning to try. I get the sense that they don't have a lot of decaf offerings, but this one was approachable and definitely more interesting than a standard medium roast decaf. The flavour clarity was really there on both the cookie dough and blood orange. Would recommend. Note that I had to grind it significantly finer than other decafs to find the tasty.

Solid decaf

Not my favorite decaf but likely due to my skills. Been enjoying as a refreshing iced coffee

A decent decaf

A decently sweet and balanced cup, nothing too special but a decent afternoon drink.

This decaf is really good

This decaf is really good, and very smooth. I would argue that it doesn't have any blood orange tasting notes at all -- I thought it would be "brighter" than it is. Instead, it's a little more heavy. That all said, it's a very clean and pleasant cup of coffee and I would recommend it. It tastes good brewed as espresso, it's good in an americano, and it pairs very nicely with milk in a latte.

Great decaf

Second time trying Traffic, previousily I had there PB&J blend and was blown away. This was a really good coffee but I wasn't tasting the notes they listed as bold as I did with there PB&J. Still an amazing coffee but I may have set my expectations to high with their other roast.
