We are thrilled to announce that CEADO's new Rev espresso grinder series has officially landed at Eight Ounce Coffee. Introducing the CEADO Rev Titan Espresso Grinder and CEADO Rev Steel Espresso Grinder – a set of masterfully designed, café-quality grinders made to eliminate the guesswork from crafting consistently delicious espresso.

Who is CEADO?

CEADO is a renowned manufacturer of coffee grinders, bar equipment, and brewers. Everything is hand-made in Venice and inspired by the roots of Italy’s prolific coffee industry. With CEADO’s signature quality and craftsmanship at the helm of production, they’ve set out to reimagine industry standards with a holistic and intuitive approach to coffee grinding.

CEADO sets out to “design flavour”, where artistry and intention are juxtaposed with the nuanced mechanics of espresso grinders. Through the observation of how a grinder influences extraction, they turn the art of espresso coffee grinding into a science. When made by a CEADO Rev grinder, each cup is infused with a sensory experience in depth, flavour, and clarity.

Whether you’re looking for perfectly balanced espresso or a powerful commercial grinder made for high-volume café environments, the Rev Steel and Titan by CEADO are designed to factor in every subtle parameter responsible for creating (and recreating) that magic shot of espresso.

Thoughtfully designed for the modern barista

At CEADO, designing flavour is achieved by more than just creating a technically sound machine – CEADO takes the industry standard a step further by allowing you to effortlessly reveal the true character of espresso, achieving nuance and complexity in the first shot. Through proactively addressing the small, often invisible parameters like heat and ground retention, a CEADO grinder affords baristas the freedom to focus on what matters – producing delicious coffee.

Weight Adjustment Module

Those experienced in espresso dialling will know that a primary factor in pulling the perfect shot is consistent dosing, with even one gram having the potential to set everything awry. To address this, CEADO designed both the Rev Steel and Titan with an easily-mounted Weight Adjustment Module (WAM), providing effortless results even during high-volume periods or between espresso batches.

Advanced Levelling and Adjustments

Both CEADO Rev grinders are equipped with a stepless adjustment dial and digital display, allowing for clear and easy access to the grind setting. This feature is perfect for those mid-rush moments, when the need for quality and efficiency become equally important. Whether you’re swapping out for a new espresso or making minor adjustments, the digital display and easily-accessible dial puts you in control.

Integrated Thermal Stability

Overheating in your grinder can destroy the volatile aromatic compounds in coffee, which often results in a loss of depth and complexity in the cup. The CEADO Rev Steel and Titan implement a Grounds Temperature Management (GTM) system and internal airflow, which prevents the burrs from overheating and preserves the nuanced flavours in your espresso even during high-volume periods.

Steady Lock System

Even with the slightest amount of heat, the potential for burr expansion increases, leading to inconsistent ground size and a loss of flavour consistency. As a countermeasure, CEADO has built both the Rev Steel and Titan with a Steady Lock system that expands in the opposite direction of the burrs, keeping them in place and preserving the flavour profile of espresso.

Built for your environment

The CEADO Rev Steel and Titan grinders are designed with built-in noise reduction technology, which addresses an often-overlooked demand for quieter café  environments. And with only three screws needed to remove the top of the grind chamber, an easily removable chute and air filter, and absolutely no post-clean realignment necessary, a café espresso grinder has never been easier to maintain.

An intuitive and adaptable interface

A CEADO Rev grinder is designed to simplify day-to-day operations while you take control – a smart user interface affords 5 grinding activation modes to match your café workflow, clear maintenance alerts, a programmable airflow, and a scroll-down menu ensuring intuitive use for anyone.

Two café-quality espresso grinders – one goal

The CEADO Rev Steel and Titan espresso grinders are each designed to adapt to different performance requirements depending on your workflow. They do, however, share one greater purpose – to remove the margins of error from coffee grinding so you can focus on dialling in that perfect shot of espresso.

The Rev Steel grinder is designed to produce espresso that delivers an excellent balance between flavour clarity and body, making the Rev Steel an ideal choice for espresso blends.

The Rev Steel is equipped with C83mm Steel Flat Burrs with a lifespan of 900kg.

The Rev Titan is the ideal espresso grinder for high-volume environments, delivering consistently bold flavour and body perception even in heavy milk-based drinks.

The Rev Titan is equipped with High Productivity TiN-coated (HPT) 83mm Flat Burrs, with an average lifespan of 2.5 tons

Why the CEADO Rev Series?

The CEADO Rev series is a clear next step in the evolution of café espresso grinders – rather than being built just to withstand high volumes, the Rev Steel and Titan grinders are designed to adapt to the increasingly high demands of the modern barista, providing unparalleled control, even with the famously unpredictable nature of espresso.

With the CEADO Rev grinders, the art of crafting the perfect espresso is expertly folded into the latest technology in coffee grinding. With this philosophy, CEADO is redefining standards within the specialty coffee industry.
