I might be biased towards Ethiopian coffees, they tend to be more either more fruity and interesting, black tea like which is nice, or just boring / too weak at the worst, but usually clean and pleasant tasting, with other origins like Colombian sometimes I get a funky note I don't love. I find a little of that in this one maybe due to it being 20% honey processed, but it's really not too bad, I'm probably noticing it more because I'm brewing and comparing side by side with a couple different Ethiopians (DAK Strawberry Kiss natural, and DAK Peach Daze Washed).
This one is an interesting mix of fruity and floral notes. The bag arrived about a month after roast date, which I don't think is a big deal some light coffees are best after a month rest, but others maybe not. I'm not sure but it might have actually been best the first time I brewed it so maybe it did go downhill after I opened the bag, or could have just been a lucky brew or my memory playing tricks on me.
Pretty nicely priced for a Geisha, although it is a smaller bag than most other coffees around the same price but still priced well.
Maybe I just like DAK's stuff or Ethiopians but for the price I prefer those, I find Gesha's are interesting sometimes but often considering the price they're not worth it. This one I don't regret trying though.
