PORLEX Replacement Handle (Pentagonal)

What a game changer! I was seriously considering replacing my 10 year old Porlex coffee grinder because the handle was loose, rendering the process of grinding coffee in the morning a bit tedious .
Being able to buy a component instead of having to purchase a completely new item is amazing for the wallet and the environment. There is nothing technically wrong with my grinder, and I am not such a refined coffee enthusiast that I “dial in” my coffee recipe.This replacement handle means that my coffee grinder will remain in use for at least another 10 years!

Our original handle was wearing out at the hexagon,but ultimately the handle broke making it unless. We didn't want to replace the whole grinder. Happy to have found it here and shipping was quick. Thank you!

Exactly the part needed, got tired of using the ol' electric drill/hexnut bit in the kitchen. I'll go back to that if this handle rounds out too, but glad to have a quick fix from 8 oz!

I also broke the plastic handle by dropping it too often. I was shocked and thrilled that you stocked what I needed. Minor point ... you call it "hexagonal" (6-sided) but it is actually "pentagonal" (5-sided). I'm thrilled that I'm back in the grinding business. Great product!! I am unaware if I could have purchased this part anywhere else in Canada. Good for you!!!

It took a few years but we practically stripped the original handle. We were still using it until recently when Hubby dropped it and the plastic cracked. I was relieved to see the replacement handle still available for the hex! New one fits my Porlex Tall, as expected. Delivery was quick. Would recommend!

If You need the replacement you either lost it or stripped it like me. Thankfully the new version is less prone to stripping! I'll still probably loose it.

If you are stubbornly continuing to hand grind and you invested in a Porlex before the hexagon was updated to rectangle, do yourself a favor and replace the handle! A less worn handle is an absolute dream. Be stubborn about hand grinding, not about using equipment you've worn out!
