La Asociación de Productores Ecológicos de Planadas (ASOPEP) was founded in January, 2013, with the following mission: “To be known as an association that creates opportunities for the personal growth of its members, protects the environment, innovates in commercial business processes and is always in the vanguard of specialty coffee producers worldwide.” With over 160 contributing farms ASOPEP has been a roaring success, and the coffee quality reflects the care and attention that goes into growing their coffees. The town of Planadas itself is just over 50 years old, established in 1966. With terrific elevation, warm days, and cool nights and young, healthy trees, the coffee produced in and around Planadas is fantastic.

This coffee is incredible. Personally I like to add honey to an aeropressed cup.

This coffee I find Really good. You always kind of weird about what it really tastes like, but this turned out to be quite good. I'm glad I picked this one

Kirstie B. (British Columbia, Canada)
Good but old

The coffee was good but the roast date indicated it was months old. I’m sure it’s all in my head, but I like a roasted date to be days or weeks, not months.
