COF-RW-0054Owned by siblings Rigoberto and Luis Eduardo Herrera, Cafe Granja La Esperanza has been a family-run coffee producer since 1945, originally started by their grandparents at Potosi Farm. Rigoberto and Luis transitioned the farm to organic production in the late 90s, adding exotic varieties like Geisha and Sidra. The ‘Tres Dragones’ Colombia lot is processed with a unique technique, where cherries are fermented for 36 hours before undergoing a 48-hour treatment in mechanical dryers, giving the coffee a distinctive character.
